What do you guys remember most about the 1960's in America?
I am doing a project for my popular culture class in college and need to ask several people what they remembered about the 1960's in america. Please include your first name in the response if you don't mind =)

I used the name Della then and as they say if you remember you weren't there. But I do remember parts of Wood Stock, being back stage and some of the other performers being totally wasted - I was only about half way there, but before the weekend was over I had caught up and we were the party.

Can't give you the artists, but can give you some 60s history.
- President Kennedy assassinated
- Black Civil Rights Movement
- Women's Liberation Movement
- Anti-war demonstrations (Vietnam)
-Hippies and counterculture - sex/drugs/rock'n'roll (generation gap). Woodstock festival.
- Pop-culture industry develops ("Beatlemania", etc)

What are all these illegal people and religion doing in America?
These foreigners are spreading their unholy, anti-christ religion into our land.
Their culture is preventing our people from being Christians, they spread their false prophecy and ruin our American culture.
American people need to realize that there is only one God, and that is our God, not the Arab or Jewish prophets. What is worse is when the people become non-believers and do not put faith on God at all.
This was not the scenario back in the 1960's.
